What follows the introductory chapter on 1) general principles and rules, deals with 2) the protection of employees, 3) right to income, housing, social and health care, 4) protection of families, children, elderly persons, persons with disabilities, migrants and people in vulnerable situation, 5) rights to education, language and cultural traditions, as well as 6) right to justice. The book is also dedicated to the study of how countries comply with the set standards and how citizens and organizations may complain and claim for justice through international supervisory bodies.
