The relationship between ethnicity and sexuality is closer and more political than it might appear at first glance. This book examines the concept of ethnosexuality to demonstrate how ethnicity, nationalism and sexuality intersect and contribute to our everyday lives. Though often hidden, these factors are contributors to our collective present and past. The present collection of articles examines ethnosexual processes in Russia and Finland. The authors highlight the ethnosexual character of the Russian-Finnish border and the sexualized language of Finnish peacekeeping operations abroad.
